Kajal Raju is a Los Angeles–based dancer and choreographer whose work blends jazz funk, Indian classical, Bollywood, contemporary, and pro-pom technique. She has performed with global organizations including World of Dance, Hulu, and the Roland-Garros French Open, and has shared the stage with artists such as OneRepublic, Diljit Dosanjh, and Karan Aujla. Kajal also made history as the first South Asian dancer for the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets, a milestone that fuels her commitment to increasing cultural representation in the dance and fitness worlds. Kajal is a choreographer and movement instructor, and her Bollywood fusion choreography has garnered global attention for its dynamic blend of Indian and Western movement styles. Most recently, Kajal choreographed artist Shreea Kaul’s first national tour. She teaches fusion choreography workshops that emphasize musicality, storytelling, and cultural nuance.
Kajal is also the founder of Bolly Fit Fusion, an open-level, community-driven dance workout that celebrates joy, movement, and inclusivity. Her mission is to create judgment-free spaces where every body feels seen, celebrated, and empowered through the power of dance.
